We're Here to Listen
I have experience in relationship intimacy, family systems, codependency; change, loss and transitioning; developing communication, assertiveness and conflict resolution; and resolving issues that interfere with relationships and personal fulfillment. I believe life is a learning process and that all people seek purpose, self-actualization, intimacy, love and compassion in their lives.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. I have practiced as a Social Worker, Employee Assistance Counselor, LPC, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minneapolis, Honolulu and Denver.
I strive to develop a trusting relationship with each client. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
I view each client and myself as a team focused on gaining insight and skills so the client can cope with present day issues and enhance relationships.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
In this fast paced world we are faced with constant change in our personal and professional lives and the world at large. The information and sensory input we process today is far greater than 20 years ago. People experience higher levels of stress and anxiety, especially highly sensitive and empathic persons who may lack the emotional and sensory shield necessary to protect themselves.
Join us to learn more about what it means to be highly sensitive or empathic, while learning coping strategies, techniques, and how to set healthy boundaries to take care of yourself.
A support group with psycho-education is a welcoming place to learn, explore and discuss issues with other people in a non-judgemental environment. The group allows you to make connections with others who have similar feelings in a safe setting. You will find support, learn to build resiliency, empowerment, and have connection in community. Members are encouraged to support each other with their natural strengths and abilities.
